Game Instructions
- Your are trying to find a secret code that will unlock the door at the end of the maze.
- At each check point, you will find a Suspect, Missing Luggage Item, and Vehicle. In your app, tap the matching items to mark them off. Only tap the what you find, so at the end you know the culprit.
- Once you have crossed off all items except one Suspect, one Missing Luggage Item, and one Vehicle, use them to solve the secret code. If you need a hint on how these can help (it is a tricky puzzle), tap the 'Hint' button where you'll get some clues.
- Now, try your secret code at the final door at the end of the maze and see if you can solve the mystery!

Look at the numbers 1 2 3 4 and the list of words. What might you count with 1 in the first word, 2 in the second, etc.? Hint: what you need to count is a word in the original clue.

We should be counting the letter in the word corresponding to the word number. So, for Water, we take 'W', the first letter. Palm uses the second letter 'A', third letter in Cove for 'V', and fourth in Tide for 'E'. What's that spell? WAVE is your answer.

Ok, if we look at the maze map, we see a crab, and the sun is above it (North or N on the compass). So we have 'N'. Now we travel from the sun to the "Skelly's", that's East or 'E'. West to volcano and South to the water so the answer of North, East, West, South can be abbreviated as NEWS.
NEWS is your answer.

Look at any maze map (either a printed map or on the sign). None of the letters in the clue go past K. How might these sample lines correspond to the map letters?

If we draw a line on the map (please don't actually draw on our signs!) from J to I to G, it would look like the JIG shape. Same for the other two. So, if we start at 'C', what letters could we draw to that would match this shape? C-A-K-E. The answer is CAKE.

It's a three-letter code and 3 lines, so assume each line is a letter. But the answer is much simpler than math or moving numbers, sometimes you just need to see some light!

If you colored in all the numbers in each row (so all the 4s, 8s, 1s, 6s, 5s) you would get the shape of an 'S'. Do the same for row 2 and you get an 'O', and row 3 gives you another 'S'. Yes, your message is SOS.

You first need to find the 11 checkpoints in the maze and mark off which Suspect, Missing Item, and Getaway Vehicle you find at each. You will find their locations marked on the maze map. As you find each one, tap items you found on your phone. You do not need to do anything else until you find all 11, at which point there will be one of each remaining.
